• Today we are going to talk about how to show you are listening.

How to show you are listening

• Good listening skills are important, especially in the classroom.

• If you do not listen in the classroom it makes it hard to learn.

• If you do not show your friends you are listening it makes it hard to get along.

How to show you are listening

• You can show you are listening by:

• Nodding you head• Saying yes, uh-huh, okay• Looking at the person who is

speaking• Turning your body towards the

person who is speaking
