2 CONFIGURATION CSG

2.1 Connection CSG

Step 1: Connect SHDSL links on the SHDSL Board of the CSG. Same for ADSL.

Step 2: Connect your PC on the ETH/OAM port of the CXPA Board with RJ45 cable

The following indicators are present on the front panel of the CXPA: STAT indicator, red or green, which indicates the board working status PROG indicator, red or green, which indicates the running status of the program SYNC indicator, red or green, which indicates the clock synchronization status SRV indicator, red, yellow or green, which indicates the service status CRIT indicator, red, which indicates critical alarms MAJ indicator, orange, which indicates major alarms MIN indicator, yellow, which indicates minor alarms LINK indicator, green, which indicates the port connection status ACT indicator, yellow, which indicates the data transceiving status of the port

Step 3: Start U 2000 server and after all the processes are started, start U2000 Web LCT

The default IP of NE PTN910 is 129.9.X.X/255.255.0.0Your laptop must have an IP on this range. In case that the PTN910 was already configured, be sure that you have an IP Address in its range. For U2000 Web LCT starts use the following:

User: adminPassword: admin123

Step 4: Click Auto Discovery NextThe system will start to search the NE

Step 5: When the NE is found Click stopCreate

The NE will be created on U2000LCT

Use the following:

User: lctPassword: password

Step 6: Click right on the NEConfigurationupload

The configuration of the NE will be uploaded on U2000LCT

Step 7: Click right NEOpen Slot Diagram

Click right on the SHDSL board and ADSL boardAdd physical board

Step 8: Click right NE NE explorer

Step 9: ConfigurationNE Attribute Modify NE IDEnter the values given by engineer

Step 10: Communication Communication ParametersConfigure the Management IP address

IP Address: Management IP of the CSGSubnet Mask: 255.255.224.0Gateway IP address: Management IP of the MASG (Primary GNE IP Address: 10.35.63.254)

You will loose the connectivity after configuring the management IP.You need to configure your laptop with an IP on the same range of the management IP.Then you can start to configure interface and management tunnel.

Step 11: Change the LSR ID

Function Tree -> Configuration -> MPLS Management -> Basic Configuration

Note: If the LSR ID is not blank, after you modify the LSRID the softwar of PTN910 will reboot. Wait until the PTN910 software startup completely, and then do the other configuration.
