comunication strategy: HERB LESTER MAPS
1. Iconic
It uses iconic city plans whereyouyou can recognize the most important landmarks of the city, represented by threedi-mensional shapes by line or spot. At all times it respects the use of only three colors and also the written and gra-phic information are arran-ged in equal measure.
2. Scenes
The introduction of handma-de drawings which depict daily scenes of the city is a feature that characterizes allHerb Lester’s maps.
3. Typography
It uses different fonts associa-ted with different places of the city, so as to recognize them visually. Moreover, de-corative elements are used to separate each name.
4. Color
Only three colors are used ineach of the guides using, in some cases, colors which areidentified with the culture of the country.
5. Folded
The size of the guide (A3) andfolding it into a much smaller size (A6), makes it more easy to handle. It also allows to puta front cover as a claim to the public. front cover

1. Structure
The umbrella-shaped structu-res generate, in this case, in-ternal microclimates which propitiates activity in a heated atmosphere in its abs-ence. This is achieved by na-tural ventilation, so that the plant and section adopt geometric principles of vol-canic stone.

2. Microclimate
Microclimate generation from sustainable criteria. It proposes the indoor air’s re-generation through the water flooding the roof. Also, the introduction of vegeta-tion helps in this regeneration.

3. Versions
It generates different versions of the same structure-umbrella. The different situa-tions described in the project causes that, in some cases, the central part of the struc-ture can be stepped on or not.
4. Ground
From an existing pattern and a logic of mobility, it proposes a material pattern to structu-re the site according to the situations of the project.
1. situation
3. logic: mobility 4. structure: proposed pattern
2. geometry: existent pattern
5. Situations
The structures have a varia-ble size in plan (changing its diameter), so as to offer diffe-rent possibilities to reply the different levels of demand depending on the situation.
