PRESENTATION OF PROJECT SEDMNAMED

• We created the new series of sinking EDM machine with these two main goals:

• to make the latest achievements in and dramatically improved capabilities of sinking EDM a practical solution for a wide range of customers,

• to develop an EDM Sinker that will bring our customers more performance and effectiveness for each dollar spent, than any other machine on the market.

• With these goals in mind, we have taken care of the price of the new machine. We made it reasonable and desirable for the majority of potential customers.

• The following is a concise list of technical information on the new machine:

• Generator• The working current pulse duration was reduced to 0.5 µs on the

actual machine tool. This reduction in duration allowed for realization of finishing regimes,

• The pulse fall time was dramatically decreased, which led to highly improved performance and effectiveness,

• With this conditions we get more effective evacuations from each of crater,

• Signals for corrections of current system get with minimum delay, it is mean that our system have react before to begin bad conditions in proces.

• Process Control System

• The system is capable of recognizing and eliminating “bad” pulses within a phenomenally short period of time,

• This sensitivity in shutting off unneeded pulses completely eradicates the possibility of discharge localization that leads to electrode damage, since there is no current energy to do any damage.

• The system also works proactively and prevents the unwanted conditions from forming.

• The system has an extremely high flexibility and adaptiveness for the whole spectrum of sinking EDM.

• The system allows for machining of parts with a highly complicated geometry. Until now, this was possible only on very expensive machines, and usually, after a series of test cuts.

• Software Control System

• The system contains all necessary functions to control the machine, including the specially designed, elaborate, multifunctional technology software.

• The software graphical user interface is designed to be easy to work with and user-friendly.

• The system allows for a quick selection of the appropriate technology settings. The chosen technology works automatically to complete the process.

• Machine Tool

• The tool is fabricated using a high-quality cast iron (FC-35) for increased rigidity and workpiece capacity.

• Key parts of the tool, such as motors and drives, guides, glass scales, ball screws, couplings, are made by respectable and reliable manufacturers from Germany and Japan. These parts allow for high precision and longevity of the tool.

• EDM Technology

• The technology is based on all the features of the machine tool, generator, process control system, and software. It is built upon many years of experience and implementation of innovative ideas.

• The technology allows the customer to select the optimal combination of undersize, final roughness, electrode wear, and time needed for the process.

• The more complicated the geometry of the electrode, the more valuable are the features of our system and technology.
