Teaching grammar in context by connecting grammar to writing and reading can increase student understanding and learning.

Grammar is about more than just rules; it is about the way words and sentences are formed by language users in various situations of everyday life.

In EFP we have some examples for grammar points not introduce in context:

If we looks at the teacher book , we will notice that grammar points and exercises are introduced through three stages:

1.Presenation2 .Practice

3 .Production

Grammar reference: is a text-like description of the major grammatical constructions in a language, illustrated with examples

We find grammar reference in SB in the secondary stage and in the grade 10 of the elementary stage

What is the pedagogical value of grammar references?

1 .It give detailed explanation for grammar rules 2 .It is an important reference for the student to

learn more about grammar points that introduce in the book

3 .It provide the teacher with model examples 4 .It provide the teacher with extra activities

E’Suggestions: 1.Grammar points must introduce in context in order

to make grammar easy for students

2.The grammar lesson must focus just on one grammar point in order not to confuse student

3.Put grammar point according to students ability to understand it

4 .The exercises in the one unit must talks about the same topic
