Housing• Our EMPACT Haiti home is a four bedroom

one bathroom home in a gated property.• Occupancy 20

• Two bedrooms are for the EMPACT Haiti Staff• Two bedrooms have 12 Wooden Bunk Beds &

are for EMPACT Volunteers on Deployment- Recommend sleeping pads/air mattress for bunk beds

Food and Water• Purified water provided,

bring water bottles to refill

• Two Haitian meals provided daily (breakfast and dinner)

• All food is cooked and is kept covered. Eat food hot, and peel all fruits and vegetables

• Meals are eaten family style with EMPACT Haiti Staff

Daily Schedule• Wake up at a prearranged time• Breakfast• TapTap to Clinical Site• Back Home around 6pm• Downtime in Evening

Emergency Evacuation Process

• Assign Team Lead for group, this will be the spokes person the for group

• Team Lead will communicate with Pierre DuckensNature of EmergencyInformation about affected volunteer(s)

• Team Lead/Pierre Duckens will contact Deployment Coordinator and Project Manager (Armadeus)

• If you are not able to contact DC/PM/EMPACT CEO contact Gallagher International Insurance Services directly using the insurance card provided

• And contact US Embassy in Haiti, U.S. Embassy closed from 4 PM to 7 AM M-F , Saturday and Sunday

5. Avoid all night travel, except for true emergencies

6. Volunteers should not travel unaccompanied. At least one

other volunteer & ideally, an EMPACT Haiti Staff member,

should accompany individuals on any excursions
