Black and Hispanic girls ages 15-18 experience the most instances of dating violence (Youth Risk Behavior Survey, 2009)

Men who as children witnessed their parents’ domestic violence were twice as likely to abuse their own wives than sons of nonviolent parent (*Domestic Violence Statistics, 2011)

40% Increase in teen dating violence in Miami Dade County since 2001 (Youth Risk Behavior Survey, 2001-2009)
