November 2013
November, 2013My Brothers, The cycle continues. The weather cools, the trees drop their leaves, the harvest concludes, and the annual term nears its completion. It is a time to reflect on the prior year and consider the new opportunities on the horizon. It is election season and time to choose your new lodge leaders for next year. Please come to the stated meeting on Nov. 7th as we will hold our elections. All Master Masons in good standing will be electing the Master, Sr. and Jr. Wardens, Sec. and Treas. for the 2014 Masonic Year. Bro. Lee will prepare the dinner prior to the meeting. We had a great October, filled with degrees of every level. Past Master Eric and his crew performed admirably for the Past Masters’ Night and we had a huge crowd in the big lodge room for an Interdistrict degree with #446 and our district #442. We intend to confer a few more degrees this month. Please come to support your brothers on Tues., Nov. 12th, and Tues., Nov. 19th. With delicious food and great company, Cigar Night will be held at Dave Garcez’s house on Nov. 13th, at 6 pm. Bring a friend! Thanks to the generosity of the brothers, we have acquired a huge road sign to put at the Modesto city entrance at Maze and Carpenter. We will install it this month - if you’re interested in helping, please contact the master. Smyrna Lodge in Ceres is having their
