Virtual bake sale Thank you to all the pupils, parents, carers, teachers and wider school community who took part in last week's virtual bake sale. It was a wonderful group success and raised a staggering £1,000 for the school via the JustGiving page. Maisie Mcelroy P4 has joined a local painting group called the ‘Porty People Painting Group’. They were thrilled to win the first challenge with their oil paintings of ‘Portobello Sunset with Cressida the Octopus’.

Taym Masri p6 and Elias Masri P3 Me and my brother celebrated Eid this week, it was different kind of celebration with all social distancing rules, but we helped to make this dates and pistachio shortbread with my parents...yummy

Charlie’s amazing Viking ship

John (P3) and David (P2) spotted a rainbow coming from one of Towerbank’s chimneys!

Here is Max’s model of his Viking long ship. His brother Finn helped him build it from recycling junk, they enjoyed the challenge!

Rebecca did a socially distant bake sale this morning from the end of our driveway. Some of our neighbours, Thomas and Rachel Payne, Euan, Cammie and Eilidh Moffat and Tom, Ben and Peter Saywell dropped off baking. Libby and Lottie Clement also dropped some brownies off on their walk. Lots of neighbours and friends came by and we raised £92 for the parent group 😀
