Pentecost

This was already a Jewish festival, called Pentecost because it was 50 days after the beginning of Passover

Pentecost was “Feast of the Giving of the Law” This celebrated when God gave the Law to

Moses on Mount Sinai Passover happened on the 14th day of the first

month The Israelites arrived to Mount Sinai in the third

month (approximately 50 days later)
