Recommended System Requirements of MICROSOFT

DYNAMICS: NAV 2013

• OS is either Windows 7 professional, ultimate, enterprise x64 bit or

Windows 8 Professional x64 bit

• Processor: At least Intel i3 3rd gen

• Hard Drive: At least 30 MB free

• RAM: At least 4 GB

Required Software to be installed in computer for NAV 2013 to run properly:

• At least Microsoft Office 2010

• .NET framework 3.5 (Windows Service Pack)

• SQL Server 2012

MICROSOFT DYNAMICS: NAV 2013 INSTALLATION

INSTRUCTIONS

***Make sure your internet connection is stable in order to properly download and install the different software needed to properly install NAV 2013***

***Proceed to step 4 if you retained your Windows Settings or if you are using Windows 7***

1. Open Nav 2013 Folder

2. Run as Administrator dotNetFx35setup.exe (.NET

Framework 3.5)

3. The “Windows Feature” window would pop out.

Select Download and install this feature icon

***Estimated time the download was finished = 14 minutes***

4. In Nav 2013 folder, run SQLEXPR_x64_ENU.exe

(SQL SERVER 2012)

5. The SQL Server Installation Center window would

pop out. Select New SQL Server stand-alone installation or add features to an existing

installation icon

6. Check Include SQL Server product updates and

click Next button

7. Select Perform a new installation of SQL Server

2012 option and click NEXT button

8. Check I accept the license terms. And click Next

button

9. For Feature Selection, Instance Configuration, etc.

as seen in the figure below. Just keep on clicking the Next button until you see the Close button to

finish installation of SQL Server 2012

10. Once SQL Server 2012 has finished installation, Restart your Computer

11. Open again NAV 2013 folder and run

DVD_BUILD33781.zip using WinRAR or WinZIP

12. Run as administrator setup.exe

13. In set up window select Install Demo icon and

wait for installation process of NAV 2013 to end

***In order to know that NAV 2013 software has been installed correctly Open MICROSOFT

DYNAMICS: NAV 2013 icon. Before the software would open, a window would pop up showing the

details as seen in the figure below***

***Click the OK button to be able to start the

application***
