National Award for e-Governance 2015-2016 to

ASHA Soft

ASHA Soft, the Online Payment & Performance Monitoring System for

ASHA health worker in Rajasthan has been bestowed with the National Award

for e Governance 2015-16 under specific sectoral award category (focus

sector – financial inclusion). The award was presented during the 19th

National e Governance conference held at Nagpur on 21-22 January 2016.

AshaSoft has been developed by NIC, Rajasthan.

It is an integrated system to measure the performance of ASHA

sahyoginies and to ensure timely and transparent payment of incentives to

them. Performance measurement of ASHAs on case-to-case basis with the

help of ASHA Soft has resulted in significant improvement in concerned

functional areas of Health & Family Welfare in the state. The system has

since been shared with Karnataka and Uttarakhand state for its

implementation there.

The National Award for e Governance was presented during the 19th National
