Social Web

The Social Web represents a shift in the way people use the web and interact with each others.

Social media creates great career opportunities for women in general, and work from home moms in particular, as  bloggers, social media representatives and consultants, online business owners and even social application developers.

Social media is a successful platform proven to empower people, especially women, to make a positive change in their communities.

Connectivity: many of the participants did not have reliable internet connection.

Internet Literacy: some of the participants moved from having no email address to starting their own blog. They are still trying to master the basics of the internet.

Language: many of the participants speak only Arabic, which caused a problem. Now, a lot of the websites are being Arabized and this will remove the language barrier.
