Have you ever been a Couchsurfer or CSer when you are on the journey of traveling?
Some of you may ask:
What is Couchsurfer and CSer???
Couchsurfer is the person who uses the Couchsurfing.org website to do Hospitality Exchange, the Cser is short for Couchsurfer.
The Couchsurfing.org is the platform where provides real and concrete information of his members to help you know them, then you decide with who you want to do Hospitality Exchange and send them Couchsurfing request to tell them who you are, why you find them and what’s your traveling plan, etc.
If they accept your Couchsurfing request, these local people will provide you a spare space, like floor, couch or guest room, to let you sleep in; what’s more, they will receive you from train station/airport,cook traditional food for you, take you to walk around their city and even invite you to participant into their social networking, etc.

Now, I want to share some of my Couchsurfing experience with you!

Made

Social

with
their friends
They help you know the city better, share their stories with you, make you feel at home, let you believe again the world is warm……
So what something else can we do for them???If you ask what I have done, I will advise you:
Cook delicious
Chinese food
for them
&
Teach them how
to use
Chopsticks
I met the host who is a medical student, IT engineer, Office Lady, photographer, ballerina, millionaire, company founder and even a refugee from Afghanistan…, the process of short-living and chatting with them makes me feel deeply how diversity and dynamic the world is, meanwhile they enrich and shape my life.
After being Couchsurfer, I feel more grateful to my life and become more helpful, and really find that listening and asking suitable question are effective communication skill to interact with people. What’s more, I begin to understand the importance of life balance: Gaining and Giving.
Thank you!
