National School Choice Week: January 26th– February 1st
Did you know that next week is National School Choice Week?
Do you also know that some of our students would not have the
opportunity to attend our school if it was not for the school choice
option? We are thrilled with our Clear Creek Christian family and
we want the world to know! Would you be willing to share our
excitement? Tell your friends, share on facebook, comment on
our facebook page something about our school, enrollment, invite
friends to the Rise & Shine Expo? We are thankful for the School
Choice option and we want to make sure to share for someone
who may not know about that option, but may be able to benefit
from it! I know that our family has been greatly blessed by Clear
Creek Christian School, so please share so more families can join
us! We want God to send us the students who need to be here!

Monday, January 27th
6:00 – Watch our Eagles play their last basketball game
against Lighthouse. Listen and cheer with our awesome
cheerleaders! There will be plenty of concessions so bring
the whole family and have supper here. No entrance
charge!
7:00 – Immediately following the game there will be a
SHORT PTF meeting. We will be discussing
several dates for the upcoming spring
semester. If you can’t come to watch the
game, please come at 7:00 for the meeting.
It is time for the Reading Olympics! Starting
next Friday, January 31st, each student will
be participating in the Reading Olympics!
Each grade level will have a goal of minutes they should read before
February 14th. At CCCS, we believe that reading is important to
help you succeed in all you do, so we are challenging each class to
read a certain amount of minutes. If the students complete this
challenge, they will receive a medal to prove what awesome readers
they are. So head to the library– stock up on some books and get
ready to start reading! *Kindergarten students can count the time
they are read to, but all other classes need to read on their own.
Remember the total amount read can be read at any time over the
time period, but it is best to keep daily totals as you go. There will
be more detailed instructions and recording sheets coming home
next week. **Reading the Bible does count as reading time!

Ways to give to Clear Creek Christian
There are many ways to help donate to Clear Creek Christian. By using Box Tops, shopping at Kroger, using Amazon Smile on Amazon Prime, and ordering
Pizza X and clipping the Proof of Purchase of the box. Let me know if you have questions about any of these.
“Keep yourself in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.” -Jude 1:21
Mark your calendar now for our Rise and Shine EXPO. It will be on Sunday, February 23rd starting at 2:00 pm.
There will be workshops for parents to attend, hands on experiences for the kiddos, and an opportunity to sign
up for the 2020/2021 school year. Be praying right now about a family you would like to bring and share the
opportunity of CCCS. If you bring a family with you that day, you will receive a small gift. If a new family
signs up that day, they will receive $50 off their enrollment fee. Please consider bringing a guest with you so they
can check out our wonderful school.
A Penny for Your Thoughts…
What a great chapel today from our sixth graders on perseverance! Let’s persevere on in prayer this week as we have several things
we need to lift up.
Please be in prayer for…
Wendy Clark, mom of Jack Clark 6th grade, is getting a kidney transplant on Tuesday the 28th. This hasn’t been a few months in
the making this has been three years for this family so please pray that everything would work out well in all ways. Dad, Tom
Clark is our basketball coach and donated his kidney back in August.
Jordy Kimmel’s (5th grade) mother passed away last weekend. Please pray for peace and comfort for her and the family during
this time.
Kristy Post found out this week that her mom that lives in Virginia has cancer. If you remember, Mrs. Post had emergency sur-
gery in December, and this seems like another hard hit and being so far away isn’t easy.
I know there are other CCCS families that are dealing with sickness, undiagnosed health problems, and other hard issues, etc.
Please know the staff meets and prays for you each morning.
Marketing and enrollment for next school year. Please pray that families will come to the EXPO or come by during the day or
see us on Facebook and make a positive decision to come join our CCCS family.
Pray wisdom and discernment for the school board/committee as they search for my replacement.
Let’s pray to stand firm against the enemy and put on the full armor of God and thank God for victory!
Speaking of prayer, I will be teaching “Essential Prayer Practices” at Clear Creek Christian Church on Thursday nights at 6:30pm.
This six week practice will start on February 6th and go to March 12th. This is not a bible study nor a prayer meeting. It is discussion
on practicing basic prayer practices like forgiveness, lamenting, listening, etc. You do not have to pray in front of others in this group.
I would love for you to join me.
