Emily Post was born in 1872. With her publication of “Etiquette: In Society, In Business, In Politics and At Home” in 1922, she gained a reputation as the top authority on social conduct (http://emilypost.com/).
Emily Post’s family has continued to publish subsequent editions of her text as traditions of etiquette have changed over the past century.
The 18th and most recent print edition was published in 2011 and is authored by Emily Post’s great-great grandchildren: Peggy Post, Anna Post, Lizzie Post, and Daniel Post Senning.
