Who is a person that Americans should know about who made a positive/good changes for your country?

CRITERIA

Your person must be dead.

Your person must have had a positive (good) impact on your country or culture

Your paper will be 2-3 pages long, and it will include one picture.

India getting independence from England

Growth of Indian literature and culture after gaining independence.

Why are these facts and pieces of information about this person important for a typical American to know?

Gandhi was like the Martin Luther King of India

Gandhi was a very kind and caring person even when it was difficult for him to do.

Gandhi changed the country of India because he was a strong leader.

How has this person positively affected your native country and culture?

He helped India gain Independence from England.

He also helped Indians gain equality.

He was called “The Father of a Nation.”

He taught people about nonviolence.

Camila Garzon 1. The hardest thing about the MLA biography paper, for me was witting the outline.2. The easiest thing for me was typing.3. Yes, I think I could teach someone how to write a MLA paper because I did it once so I know how to do it.4. One thing I would change is when we had to look for three articles and then read those.
