Peregrine falcons are found on all continents throughout the world with the exception of Antarctica. Many people use telemetry units to track

movements of the Peregrine falcons.

The Peregrine falcon spends the winter months in the warmer climate of Central and South America, then in early Spring, returns to their nesting territory in the U.S.

An example of the Peregrine journey starts at Lake Athabase and travels down the U.S. all the way through Cuba, Haiti, and ends up near Nicaragua. Also from the data I have collected I have concluded that the migration time lapse is from Sept. 17 to Nov.8.

Personal Notes

Researching migration patterns and following nesting and hatching of the Peregrines in Cleveland, I have developed a strong interest in birds of prey.
