Our resources

are precious.

and education of our

changing resources is

imperative

to understand,

because as

with all things

precious,

they will not

last.

THE problem:

If change is what’s needed, how does change

happen?

Change is sparked by awareness

Awareness is the result of

education

Education is the magic that makes it happen.

Education

THE solution:

[re]think

The project provides sustainable education to the urban Atlanta community, encouraging the urban resident, or visitor, to contribute to the

current sustainable revolution.

At [re]think, users are provided the utility to execute necessary change for our lives, our living environment, and the lives and environment of

generations to come.

To have a sustainable

worlds, you first need

sustainable cities

To have sustainable

Cities, you first need

citizens to actively live

sustainably For citizens to choose

sustainable practices,

they must first be

educated about the

information

For learning to occur

there must be an

accessible and realistic

outlet to receive the

proper information

THE GOAL:

The large majorities of urban populations either have little or no education about how to utilize the sustainability acquired in an urban environment. The goal of

this facility is to not only provide valuable information, but also give individuals the utility to do something with what they’ve learned.

The air is clean Waste is reduced We use less water than is available All buildings are high-performance buildings Green space is abundant Clean energy technology prevails Transportation alternatives are the norm Communities and urban centers are walkableQuality of life ensured for future generations

Mayor Kasim Reed “we make strides towards becoming a top 10 city”.

Atlanta’s sustainability ranking jumped from No. 38 out the 50 most populous U.S. cities in 2006 to No. 19 in 2008.

Our users are the oil behind our gears. Together they are a collection of full time and part time staff, volunteers, children, families, adults, educators, and individuals sparked by curiosity or

initiative to do different.
