Problems Solved

Loneliness of people in 21st century

Despite development of SNS and communication technology

People rarely 100% honest or open on SNS, form shallow

relationships online

Find them community of users who share same problem

and who they can be honest with (anonymously)

Better social problems like bullying, delinquency,

depression, and suicide

Page 20: Midterm Presentation: HI Chance

interacting with others, otherwise nothing can start

emotions, etc.)

probe package)

Users must give reason for each choice they made. Reason

can be any reason whatsoever, it does not have to be

logical.

Page 28: Midterm Presentation: HI Chance

Recruiting Participants

7 to 8 People (Final)

Mainly teenagers who feel out of place in any way at

school or other community

Also recruit a few people in 20’s and 30’s

Recruit through online surveys on SNS. Choose around

15 people from surveys and send them email interviews

or personally interview those who are available offline.

After looking over the results, narrow down participants

to final 7 to 8 participants.

Page 29: Midterm Presentation: HI Chance

Scenario- Briefing

Participants should not spend more than 15 minutes per

day completing tasks, except for the first and last days,

when they also have the image assignment. On these two

days, the time spent should not be more than 30 minutes

per day.

Remind participants that there is no “logical answer” to

the activities and that they should just answer with what

occurs to them first.

Follow participants on SNS after friending them and

check their progress. If their image assignments are more

than three days late, contact participants.
