BICO technologymakes this all possible. This is usedto freely connect control blocks – just the same as with programma-ble logic controllers. This meansthat you no longer have to pro-gram the system – it only has tobe parameterized. Not only this,MASTERDRIVES Motion Controldrive units have the same func-tionality as a basic SIMATIC PLC.
The blocks are simply intercon-nected using binectors and con-nectors. Binectors connect binarysignals, while connectors connect16-bit or 32-bit data.
