When you are testing the functionality of a website you will need to cover two key areas which are:

PurposeHow well the website meets the initial purpose

Testing each of these sections will ensure you have a fully functional website that is also fit for purpose.

When you create a test plan you are showing that you can identify the areas in which you may suffer issues.

A typical test plan will show: What you’re testing What you expect to happen What actually happened Improvements

You could also back up your testing results using comments from your target audience user feedback.
