Observing through a lens of our own understanding and preconceptions.

Strong collaborative and supportive focus on observing pupil learning NOT teachers jumping through hoops.

HOW?1 PLAN&PREDICT

-Plan a lesson (or a segment of a lesson) together

-Address each activity to your enquiry question and predict how pupils will react and how it will be assessed. (Predict or aspiration?)

-Pick three TARGETS (get a range)

-Teach the lesson with your colleagues observing

-Pay particular attention to TARGET PUPILS

-Conduct any assessment and/or interviews during and after
