TelephoneGaga’s Telephone video continues the narrative from her last video for Paparazzi with costume choices, particularly Beyonce’s glasses in the

diner scene, and the use of the same director and visual style make a clear link to the Paparazzi

video. Almost SELF REFERENCING.

Telephone makes references to many things, such as Beyonce and Lady Gaga’s ‘Thelma and Louise’

style relationship

Further references include Beyonce’s
