The Toronto-Beach/Riverdale market centre hosted a fundraiser in honour of two wonderful ladies, Catherine McCormack and Linda Williamson. The fundraiser took place at the Curzon Pub. Food, Door Prizes and Hockey Ticket raffle raised over $1,055 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Newmarket based, “Inn From The Cold”, re-cently recognized KW Newmarket, for their donations and support of over $2500.00.
This act of kindness has provided seniors, young families and unemployed individuals meals and a safe, warm temporary place for overnight guests to sleep.
The shelter is able to operate each Friday night with donations such as these and can provide up to 140 meals, provide shoes, boots and clothing as well as provide assistance to find housing and jobs.
We thank our Newmarket MC for this simple and kind act of good faith to reach out to our community members whom are less fortunate.
Newmarket Inn From The Cold’s motto is simple; “When we all contribute a little, we can together accomplish a lot”.

Our Halifax MC rallied into action to aid fellow realtor Matthew Eager and his family in a time of need.
Leadership organized a food drive and donations for the Eager family. Our Halifax MC raised over $1,100 and collected boxes of home cooked meals which was delivered to their home. The Eager family expressed their deepest thanks for the generosity shown. Matthew response referred to a “common bond, simply because we are Keller Williams agents”.
The Eager family’s intends to open an "Alexis Memorial Fund from donations such as these, to help families who cannot afford a nights stay at the Ronald MacDonald House or Hot Meal when unexpectedly taken to the IWK with a sick child or early birth”.

Congratulations Canada,
Over 200 Canadians flew to Anaheim, CA. Family Reunion and made a serious impression. Based on the amount of Canadian energy, success and contribution it is clear our time has come!! Canada's agent count grew by 24% in 2010 to 1522. Canada won the highest agent growth percentage and the highest Profit Share per Market Centre awards.
There were many highlights during the week. Mo Anderson interviewed Whitby/Oshawa TL Todd Skinner at the Cultural Summit. Jennifer Frey and Juliette Smith were this year’s Canadian Cultural Ambassadors. Larry Lloyd, Darren Revell and Sunny Daljit represented Canada at the I.A.L.C. meeting. The Whitby/Oshawa ALC was interviewed by Mo Anderson at her ALC breakout.
Thank you Jim Reitzel, Tony Olajide, Larry Lloyd, Tracy Mullin, Tom Mitchell, Diane Mitchell, Sunny Daljit, Marnie Bennett and Josh Bath who all represented Canada on various panels during breakout sessions. Marvin Alexander shared his listing skills to a packed room over 1000.
