Our team of agents arrived at the parade route to hand out the 7,560 bottles of water generously donated by Nestle Water. We also would like to mention the following businesses who helped make our float a success for another year: EDN Studios who provided the dancers to dance behind our float, Photoart by Simpson who provided the picture mural, Alpha Imaging who printed the picture mural, Eagle West Truck & Crane Inc who donated the use of their truck to pull our float, Can-Am West Carriers and Vedder Transport who donated the use of the flatbed trailer, Homestead Nurseries who provided the plants and shrubs on our float, and Rick’s Appliance Centre who donated the use of a cube van to deliver the water to the office.” Keller Williams Valley Realty Has Done It Once Again!

This year’s committee was led by Marie Block who worked tirelessly to put this year’s entry together. Abbotsford Golf Tournament

June 8th was the 4th annual Royal Cup Golf Tournament hosted by KW Valley Realty, MC #706. The winning team was David Boughton, Surinder Sarowa, Bruce Jackson, and TJ Grewal. Closest to the pin and longest drive (men) belonged to Keith Dutertre and longest drive (women) went to Pam Cripps. Congratulations to Don McNeil who got a hole in one!

Newmarket/Aurora Golf Tournament

Keller Williams Realty Centres, MC 848 hosted their annual Golf Tournament on June 7th to raise money for Inn from the Cold, founded by former town Mayor Tom Taylor. Following the event Tom Taylor gave a speech on how Inn from the Cold is helping people in the community providing, food, shelter and services to those in need.

Helping a family in their community in great

need…

June 2010, the Huffmans

welcomed their daughter,

Hala, into the world. Shortly

after her birth she was

admitted into the hospital to

fix her ventricular septic

defect. The defect, which

now consumes the Huffman families' lives, is called

“22q Deletion.”

There heartfelt story has touched the hearts of our

Keller Williams family and the surrounding

community. After adopting the family and their

ongoing challenges they received amazing support of

their community and received numerous donations.

Shortly after meeting with the Huffman’s, an

immediate urgent need was identified ; the family had

a 2001 neon car that was (for a lack of better words)

a death trap. Taking into consideration there multiple

trips to BC Children’s Hospital for Halas’ operations

and treatments KW Elite realized something needed

to be done.

Tuesday July 26th KW Elite presented the Huffman

family with a safe, reliable family van! This is only a

start for helping this family – and they hope it is a
