Sometimes we don't take the time to stop and consider our success. This session will talk about why celebrating is important to personal, professional and organizational growth. When we receive a gift, meet a goal, pass a milestone, we need to take time to recognize the event. These create moments that we need to remember; they will carry us through good times and bad. In addition, sharing celebrations and giving kudos shows staff and volunteers you care about them and their accomplishments; they are more than a cog in a wheel, but an important part of the organizations success. Engaging staff in creativity exercises helps everyone think outside the box and find solutions to challenges including how to create and receive thanks and celebrations! At the conclusion of this webcast, participants will understand how to: Effectively recognize staff and volunteer accomplishment; Create appropriate celebrations: timing, written, oral, events; Set goals and recognize achievement; Use creativity to engage staff in solving challenges and determining how they want to recognized and for what.
