Reporting Occupational Safety and Health Administration Information for Woodbridge Township

Purpose

Significance

§  To accurately report the OSHA SOII form for 2014.

§  Create manual to ensure accurate and routine data reporting.

§  Work-related injury reporting is important for setting standards of safety in the workplace.

§  Employees must report their injuries to inflict change.

§  Underreporting is often an issue due to failure to report.

Methodology

Outcomes §  A complete comprehensive OSHA

report for 2014 §  A training manual for following

year’s OSHA report. §  Workers informed of importance

of reporting their work place injuries.

Gathering data for the SOII form, creating a manual, and keeping consistent processes throughout the years, can successfully improve the accuracy of OSHA reports. Also, teaching about the drawbacks of underreporting of injuries, can create a safer workplace.
