How to Use Dropbox

Let‟s install Dropbox first.

Open a browser.

Type „dropbox.com‟

Click on “Download

Dropbox”.

Click Save File.

Wait until downloading

is finished.

Click this twice.

Click Run.

Click Install.

Wait until downloading

is finished.

Choose this and click

Next.

Type your first name.

Type your last name.

Type your email

address.

Type your password.

Type password again.

Click here.

Click Next.

Choose this. That‟s if we

want it for free.

Choose either of these two,

if we want more gigabytes.

Let‟s choose this first.

Click Install.

Click Next.

Click Next.

The green arrow tells

you that this is the

dropbox icon.

Click Next.

Click Next.

Click Finish.

Now this computer is linked

to dropbox! Yey!

To verify dropbox account,

sign in to your email

address.

If you find it, click this.

Click Verify your email

address”.

Tada! You are

automatically signed in to

your dropbox account.

For future purposes,

you may sign in through

this manner.

Type dropbox.com on your

browser.

Click here.

Type your email

address.

Type password.

CIick Sign in.

Welcome to Dropbox!

How to Upload Files

Click here.

Click Choose files.

Say you select this file.

Click Open.

If you want to add more

files, click here.

Then, select files to

upload.

Wait for a while until…

…this appears. Then

click it.

Tada!

Now, to create a new

folder, click here.

Type the name of the

folder.

For example

To share a folder, click

this.

Click this if you want to

do this.

Type here the name of

the new folder.

Or you may click this.

Then, click Next.

Say you choose

audiobooks, click it.

Click Next.

Click the boxes of those

you want to invite.

Type here your

message.

Click Share folder.

Tada!

To delete a folder, right

click this, for example.

Click Delete.

Click Delete.

Tada!

To unhide the folder/s

deleted, click this.

Tada! There it is!

To restore this deleted

folder, right click this.

Click Restore.

Click Restore.

Tada!

To view the history of

folders deleted, click

this.

This appears on your

screen

You may click this…

And click Restore

(another way to Restore

folder).

To permanently delete a

folder, click this.

Click Permanently

delete.

To uninvited person/s

from a shared folder,

right click this.

Click Shared folder

options.

Click this.

Click Uninvite.

Click OK.

Click Done.

To reinvite person/s,

click this.

To unshare a folder,

right click this.

Click Shared folder

options.

Click Unshare folder.

Click Unshare folder.

To get link of a folder for

others to view it…

Right click this.

Click Copy link to this

page.

This is what will appear.

For getting a link, you

may also click this.

Click Copy link to this

page.

To download a file, right

click this.

Click Download.

Click Save File.

Left click this twice.

To rename a folder, right

click a file.

Click Rename.

This becomes an

editable area, type the

new name here.

To move a file, right

click this (for example).

Click Move.

For example, I choose

Selfhelpbooks

Click Move.

You may also, click this

and hold for a while…

Then, drag to folder

where you want to move

it.

To copy a file to another

folder, right click this.

Click Copy.

Select a folder where

you want it to be copied.

There it is!

To get more space for

dropbox…click here.

You can select on either

of these.

To log out from

dropbox, click this.

Click Sign out.
