Contribution Workflow, today• Discuss on Google groups, find a consensus• Go to GitHub• Fork• Edit, Save• Make Pull Request• Make publicity: Google group, Twitter• Reply to questions on GitHub, integrate feedbacks• Discuss on GitHub, Discuss on Google groups,

Discuss on Forums?, a LOT…• Wait forever, get rejected without reasons…

Sometimes, with luck, get accepted.

The issue: Hot off a skype chat:▫ Whats the status on CB Author plugin for J2.5?▫ If you’re viewing an article in category pages that screws up▫ Have you proposed a patch fix to joomla for that ?▫ No▫ You should ▫ The last 3 times I proposed something I was ignored, i'll spend

the time when they begin to care▫ You Really should..▫ It's frustrating because my time is limited, i have a lot to do..

daily.. from support, bug fixes, dev work, debugging, investigations, the list continues.. and when i take that valueable time to contribute to Joomla and they ignore me they might as well be spitting in my face

▫ ▫ i've posted on their tracker and on github, then i'm told to post

on google grps... why have a bug tracker and github if you're going to ignore it
