PSA Venice (also known as Venice Container Terminal) is the main container facility of the Port of Venice. Located north of the Adriatic Sea on the east coast of Italy, it is the natural gateway between the rich cargo hinterland of Northeast Italy and the East Mediterranean/Middle and Far Eastern markets. The terminal is situated inside a natural lagoon so port operations can proceed smoothly and safely in all weather conditions. The Port of Venice is well connected to the Trans European rail and road networks, as well as major shipping routes in the Mediterranean.
