• Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) is the first web-based virtual Islamic university. It offers Pre-University, Bachelor, Master and Doctoral programmes to students around the world.

• MEDIU opens the door of opportunities for students to pursue their desired academic and career goals within the Islamic paradigm and the freedom for students to study online any time from the continuously expanding range of programmes in areas of Islamic Sciences, Arabic Language, Business Studies, Information Technology and Education.

How Did We Begin

• Founded in Madinah Al-Munawwarah in 2004• Accepted invitation to open up a university in

Malaysia on 19th July 2006• Opened our first office in Malaysia 2006 at Section 18

, Shah Alam. • Final approval by the Ministry of Higher Education on

20th June 2007.• Moved to our current office in Plaza Masalam,

Section 9, Shah Alam in July 2007.• Receiving first batch of students in February, 2008.
