This is my 4th course as part of the Certificate in Nonprofit Management.

So far I have completed the following courses: Engaging The New Volunteer Workforce, Building Partnerships and Collaboration Across the Sectors, and Nonprofit Civic Engagement.

I am a communications and digital marketing specialist.

I focus on adapting media and communications to create positive social change.

I work as a Communications Officer with Misean Cara, an Irish nonprofit organization.

I work with the media to highlight the good work of our member organizations, and manage the online and traditional communications of Misean Cara.

And I am also an Adjunct Instructor for the Engaging The New Volunteer Workforce course!

I have a masters in international peace studies; degree in communications and journalism; diploma in digital marketing and advertising and certificate in green business.

I am from Ireland, and I recently returned to Dublin after living in Chicago for 3 and a half years.

I have more than 10 years of volunteering experience, having volunteered in...

my native Ireland, Greece, Romania, the UK, Belarus, Madagascar, South Africa, and the USA.

One of my career highlights was working with UNICEF in Malawi for 1 year.

From this course, I hope to learn advocacy strategies and best practices. And tips for effective online and social media campaigns.
