networks.

What are some good things about using the internet/social media?

• Talk to relatives or friends that live in a different place.

• Play games• Research things you are curious about• Connect with people around the world.

What are some bad things about using the internet/social media?

Bad

• Online predators• Too much screen time• Cyberbullying• People finding out your location• Having rumours or photos you didn’t agree to

have posted, posted online.

Be careful about what you post online

• When signing up for accounts, chose an appropriate username that doesn’t give away any information about yourself (ex. Purplesnake or yellowbee15).

• Think twice, post once. What you put online, stays online even if you delete it.

• Make sure that what you are posting is POSITIVE and doesn’t reflect badly on you.
