I am not an Italian or a German, a Romanian or a Lithuanian, I’m not a Turkish or a Spanish but a

citizen of Europe.

Non sono un Italiano o un Tedesco, un Rumeno o un Lituano, non sono un Turco o uno Spagnolo ma sono

un cittadino Europeo

European integration cannot be achieved only by relying on experts

To create the European integration ordinary citizens must become experts too.

L’intégration européenne n’est pas réalisable en se confiant simplement sur les compétences des experts, mais pour que cela soit possible il faut

que chaque citoyen devienne lui-même un expert

The challenge is to radically rethink the way we do Europe. To re-shape Europe. To devise a completely new form of governance for the

world of tomorrow.

El desafio es repensar radicalmente la manera en la que hacemos Europa. Reformarla. Idear una nueva forma de gobierno completamente

diferente para el mundo del mañana.

All free men, wherever they may live, are citizens of their own country, and therefore, as a

free man, we take pride in the words „We are European!“

Alle freien Menschen wo sie sind, sind Bürger ihres Staates und deshalb als freier Mensch, sind

wir stolz auf die Wörter “Wir sind Europäer!”

If a European is concerned only about his nation, he will not be concerned about

the peoples of Europe.

There can be no daily democracy without daily citizenship.
