Créditos de transbordo entre SMART y GGT/Marin TransitGGT y Marin Transit aceptan transbordos de SMART por un crédito de $1.50 para adultos ($0.75 para jóvenes/mayores/discapacitados). Bicicletas en Golden Gate Transit y FerryTodos los autobuses de GGT están equipados con rejilla portabicicletas. Bikes on Golden Gate Transit & FerryAll GGT buses are equipped with bike racks. Buses that do not have exterior front racks are equipped with underbelly bike racks. Some San Francisco bus stops prevent the use of the underbelly bike rack due to safety or operational reasons (see list at goldengatetransit.org/bikes). Bikes are welcome aboard all Golden Gate Ferries on a first-come, first-served basis. Bike parking is located at the San Rafael Transit Center and inside the secure waiting area at the Larkspur Ferry Terminal.

Description of ServiceRiding SMART and finding connecting transit service to San Francisco is easy, as long as you know which routes to take! Once SMART drops you off at the San Rafael Station, cross the street to the San Rafael Transit Center (be safe—cross only at the crosswalks!). From the Transit Center, Golden Gate Transit (GGT) and Marin Transit provide several options to the Golden Gate Larkspur Ferry Terminal, where you can continue your journey by ferry. Golden Gate Transit also provides direct bus service from the Transit Center into San Francisco on Routes 27, 70, and 101.The most convenient connections to/from SMART are shown here, but check online (goldengate.org and marintransit.org) or in the Golden Gate Transit Guide and Marin Transit Rider’s Guide for a complete list of trips.
FREE Shuttle for Larkspur Ferry CustomersRoute 31 is FREE for Larkspur Ferry customers. Just tag your Clipper card when you board and get off the shuttle, and again when boarding the ferry. The fare for passengers who do not ride the Ferry is $1.80 (adult Clipper), $2.00 (adult cash), and $1.00 (youth, senior, disabled).
Transfer Credits Between SMART and GGT/Marin TransitGGT and Marin Transit accept SMART transfers for a $1.50 fare credit for adults ($0.75 for youth/senior/disabled). SMART accepts GGT and Marin Transit transfers for a $1.50 fare credit for adults ($1.25 for youths, $0.75 for senior/ disabled). Fare credits are only issued when using Clipper. No fare credits are issued when using SMART eTickets.
Accessible ServicesAll GGT buses are lift-equipped with a “kneeling feature” for easier boarding. Not all GGT bus stops are accessible to wheelchairs. All Golden Gate Ferries are accessible to passengers using wheel-chairs and all have accessible restrooms.
