Chief Minister N. Biren Singhsaid that the overdraft hasbeen neutralised and therestrictions on the financialtransactions by Reserve Bankof India (RBI) would be liftedsoon. Post graduate students of DMCollege of Arts of DMUniversity warned withintense agitation if theirclasses were not resumed fromJune 25, 2019.The classes were put to haltsince June 15 June after thewithdrawal of teachers from PGengagement.Speaking to media personsone student identif ied asLeishangthem NonglembaMeetei studying MA 2ndSemester in political sciencesaid that the PG students havealready lost 5 days as theteachers went on a strike. Around 550 patien ts getbenefitted f rom the 3rdIn tegrity week which wasobserved from June 16 to June22. The integrity week whichwas observed at Raj Medicityevery year offer free OPDconsultation and smallmedium surgical procedures. The program also benefitted21 patien ts to undergooperation which will be free atcost. The free OPD consultationbegan from June 16, under thetiming from 10 in the morningtill 2 in the evening.The Integrity week which offerfree medical facilities was doneunder Corporate SocialResponsibility Scheme. The free facilities given by RajMedicity as a par t of theIntegrity week will end todayfor the General public andtomorrow the hospital willfocus on giving free medicalaid to media persons.Around 77 patients came onthe first day which is 16 June.

Thestudent couldn’t clear NEETexam and when the studentasked to find out the statusof the request made for thetransfer to KP College, it wasrevealed that the studentwithout his knowledge hadappeared the third and fourth

semester from KP College. Itwas never revealed to thestudent that the transferredhas been approved. Therewere no documents statingthat the transfer was done.Moreover, the admit card wasnever given to the student.When an RTI was filed to theRegistrar of ManipurUniversity on the matter, itwas revealed that KP Collegedid not submit any documentalong with this registrationnumber.
