CadmiumI 1800 Hydrothermal Synthesis and Characterization of Two Organically Templated

Cadmium Borophosphates with Novel Structures. — The structures of compounds (II) and (III) are determined by single crystal XRD. Both compounds crystallize in the orthorhombic space group Pbca with Z = 8 but with very different structures. (II) has a complex layered structure with a 9MR channel system formed by vertex-sharing CdO5Cl octahedra and BO4 and PO4 tetrahedra. The inorganic layers are separated by the triprotonated amine molecules. In (III) corner-sharing CdO6 octahedra and BO4 and PO4 tetrahedra built a three-dimensional open framework structure with different types of intersecting channels, which are occupied by the protonated ethylenediamine mole-cules. — (LIU, W.; GE, M.; YANG, X.; CHEN, H.; LI, M.; ZHAO*, J.; Inorg.
