question no one else in the world, and Pief answered it so he started working at SLAC

Inspiration

Tim Berners-Lee, a British scientist at CERN, invented the World Wide Web (WWW) in 1989. This system was used to interconnectnodes globally between Physicsresearch laboratories to focuson solving the world’s largest problems. ConnectivityMasterPay would function on a distributed mesh network, where if any device has access to internet the block chain can be sync’d via signature. Supernodes will be regional clusters like a New York city that will function to distribute the blockchain updates where theyare backboned to data source for blockchain.

MasterPay TerminalAn OpenWallet system hacked to store data on MasterCoin. The MasterPay machine picks up the credits and dispenses when you request via, Terminal/Web/Mobile.

PricingThe price of the terminal will auto-increment value to avoid saturation. When a payment is received, a machine will be dispatched to the address included with the payment.

Initial sales are aimed primarily at developing countries, as they benefit the most from lower prices. The earlier these countries are in the network, the more they can profit from the terminal’s increasing value.

MiningEvery terminal is allocated enough GH/s to cover its initial investment and operation costs.

Each terminal will have an investment option that allows individuals to buyout its mining pool.

MasterPay will attempt to partner with CEX.io, the world’s largest mining pool, to manage the mining portion of the operation. Mining pools for terminals will be distributed geographically to offset the risk of mining control or government influence.

RentalsSync’d wirelessly via MasterPay’s distributed mesh network all MasterPay devices that are broadcasted to the network can be bought, sold, exchanged etc, all from a terminal, web browser or app, in privacy, legally, on the mastercoin/bitcoin setup.

TravelVia the MasterPay global mesh network, a person can request any kind of travel anywhere, and if it’s permissable the car/plane etc will be notified and sent, as it is visible to the mastercoin network.

CommunicationsThe mesh network that will operate MasterPay could also operate cellular, and other communications technologies as services, that can be paid for. Distributed encrypted voice/text via “PhoneCoin” which can somehow handle high frequency block updates? that kind of idea.

LocalMasterPay will focus on selling goods produced in close proximity.

Local goods can be listed on the MasterPay app and paid for via the terminal. Eventually, this will allow the shipment to be received at the terminal where the user can pick it up.

EducationThe MasterPay system can also be applied to a spiral model of education. In this model, a student teaches one grade level below him or her. For example, a 9th grader teaches an 8th grader who teaches a 7th grader.

The terminal dispenses assignments, which earns students shares when completed. Each age group is motivated to help the one below, as collaboration results in more profit.

PowerThe MasterPay network aims to eventually be efficient enough to rely solely on solar power.

Improved efficiency depends on the chip manufacturer’s ability to reduce costs.

HospitalsThe Mastercoin network can be made accessible to hospital patients. A hospital would provide its patients with screens that would allow them to engage with the network from their hospital rooms. Based on their known abilities a task can be dispersed if they are capable to complete it they will be rewarded.

PoliticsShares can be linked to geographic locations. In turn, any person with access to the network can submit votes on local and global issues.

EnvironmentAutomated self-sustaining gardens could be created by linking a terminal in close proximity to the garden.

This would allow people to invest in gardens around them and make profit growing their own food.

WarAreas that operate against the whim of the entire network, or within a regional node, will be auto-downscaled and forced to take cuts in their dividends until they decide to side with the network.

Self Incentivized Via the MasterPay system users could vote for which things are most important to them, today next year real time. That way if many users request teachers you will have more teachers. However, if many users request politicians you will have more politicians.

HealthcareOne great feature of MasterPay is all you need to join is the MasterPay token. This token is a unique rfid chip that is scannable by the MasterPay mesh network. The user can disable the chip at any point. Periodically in the third world users will be required to give blood samples.

Disease/OutbreakSince anyone can get a MasterPay token and periodic blood samples can be taken. A complete record of anonymous people will be available to track outbreaks. If someone goes to the machine and their blood is sent to be processed. If they have a serious issue, this can be broadcasted to the network and a doctor would be deployed.

MediaWith higher frequency blocks and if processing power improves it’s possible we could see media over blockchain. In this way anyone in the world could create a station and listeners could invest/vote for who is favorite on the network, also making censorship theoretically impossible.

Nuclear OptionGlobal issues like Nuclear Arms are devastating. If users could vote to crowd ban bad actors, the network could freeze their dividends, decrease power, essentially throttle that situation back.

ExodusA large portion of foundation money should be dedicated towards wormhole technology, and space travel as it is the only chance the human race has to survive once the Sun goes into supernovae.

AIAs the MasterPay system develops and learns about the users, it can develop customized interactions with customers, just by detecting their presence. Eventually not only shopping ideas of customers will be stored, but habits, thoughts and maybe one day an entire imprint of the brain.

Human PreservationAs AI and brain scanning technology improves devices can be hooked into the MasterPay network and store key details about people. If technology permits it maybe even full brain imprints. So we could send a signal with our world’s blockchain, and it would contain all human interaction and thought possible.

Science FundingThe Mastercoin network can be directly tied into things like the nobel prize so that when profits are redistributed globally, the lion’s share goes to those who have made significant scientific achievement.

CrimeCrime is enforced by Board Members of the jurisdiction by vote and the offender has their GH/s decreased

InterstellarWith Satellites we could process transactions in the solar system.

If we can develop worm hole travel, exit and entry nodes could exist allowing masterpay to opt-in to the potential universal payment system that exists between other civilizations.

Built into masterpay is a plan to distribute materials in all languages that instruct users how to create their own MasterPay branch.

SocialShopping can be more social and integrated with an identity of your choice stored on a social layer in MasterCoin similar to a slimmed down diaspora.

CardA MasterPay card can be created for the machine. Open Wallet already supports this. It will be a unique smart card that can be used anywhere on the network.

These can also be used like credit cards via the POS at front of store, or online via MasterPay plugins.

CharityThis network will be operating at huge profit as we’ve cut out huge inefficiencies.

Mastercoin Foundation will decide how to allocate the profits/funds

SecurityWe will utilize vpn always, ssl, perform a full security audit and utilize tor for areas of the world with restrictions. All data/processing will be handled on the Mastercoin/Bitcoin combination network, and will be mathematically infeasible to counter-fit or steal.

What about updates?platform is linux based. We should load this thing with facial recognition, finger print scanners, just anything in the next 20 years that might pop up. We then can continue to update the machine via distributed Git, as Linux machines are stable and can last for years.
