How to change salary structure?
April Pay Slip
Change the salary
• The basic is 65000 per month and I am changing it to 70000 per month. Remember the value needs to be put in as Per Month. Webpay picks this value as monthly value. The calculation is like this:
(Entitled Amount * Payable Days)/Calendar Days

Leaving blank would mean it would either pick the formula as defined in paycode property template or paycode (paycode master form) or 0
Please read the instructions as mentioned in this form. I have also pasted the instructions in the next slide
Attention: Please follow the below mentioned rules
else salary might be calculated wrong • If the system generates an ISAM error then please set the RegEdit
command Hkey_Local_Machine/Software/Microsoft/Jet/4.0/Engines/Excel/TypeGuessRows=0 (if this is not set to 0 then system will not read Alphanumeric fields correctly for eg. NR) ImportMixedTypes = Text
1. Enter Effective Date in excel Sheet as 10 –Jan-2010
2. For new joiners effective date should be equal to DOJ.
3. Choose Month-Year from drop down on the form. This should be the month whose salary is to be processed.
4. Blank cell in excel sheet would mean 0 (Zero), if there no formula is mapped with the paycode on the paycode master form.
5. If the paycode is mapped with a formula then the formula would be assigned to the paycode
Attention: Please follow the below mentioned rules else salary might be calculated wrong
6. NR would mean that the paycode is not to be changed.7. N would mean 0 (Zero).8. You can enter formula code in the cell if paycode is to be calculated
according to formula. You can create multiple formulas for one paycode and assign them. Please create formulas with formula code starting with an Alphabet. For eg. F1
9. If the formula code starts with number then the formula would not be calculated
10. You can enter multiple rows for one employee. With this sheet you can calculate salary with increments done in mid of month
11. Enddate: You can enter enddate if the paycode is of variable type. If there are two variable paycodes and enddate is different then use two rows and not one.
Eg.: You enter start date as 01 Jan 2009 and enddate as 31 July 2009 for a paycode(monthly incentive for Rs.500). In this case Rs.500 will be stored from Jan 2009 to July 2009.
Attention: Please follow the below mentioned rules else salary might be calculated wrong
12. You can import FINALIZED employees using this Import Salary Structure feature
13. Effective Date will be considered for both Fixed and Variable Paycodes. For eg. If you enter Effective Date as “5-Jan-2010” and you are entering the sheet for Feb. 2010 then the variable paycode will be stored for January and NOT for February 2010. If you also enter End Date as 28-Feb-2010 then the variable paycode will be
effective for both the months January and February. However if the salary for January is already processed, the salary of January will not change and neither will it come in Arrears for the month of February because while processing arrears; variable paycodes are not considered

In April it was 65000 and now it is 70000. YTD is 65000 + 70000 = 135000
