IELTS (International English Language Testing Service)

Cambridge ESOL Examinations: First Certificate in English Certificate in Advanced English Certificate of Proficiency in English

Completed and passed English course (140 hours per year) at the Norwegian upper secondary school

Norwegian language requirement

Applies to all study programmes taught in Norwegian

Norwegian test for adult immigrants from VOX with result B2 in all four parts

Test of Norwegian, advanced level (known as ”Bergenstesten”)

Examination from the 1-year course in Norwegian language and culture for foreign students, taken at a university or a university college

Examination in Norwegian/Norwegian as a second language on the “Vg3-level” (393 hours) from Norwegian upper secondary school

Norwegian Language and Culture programme

1 year full-time study

Starting every August

Main target: Applicants residing in Norway without any higher education. This is a preparatory language course for degree programmes taught in Norwegian.

Admission requiremets General academic requirement English language requirement (TOEFL (iBT) 80, IELTS 6.0)

Application deadline: 1 March

Upon successful completion and passed final exam, you meet the Norwegian language requirements.
