What Are You Looking ForAs you approach the scene, you should think about the following.

Is there danger for the rescuer? Watch where you are going. Do not attempt a dangerous act.

Is there any danger for the victim?As a rule, do not move an ill or injured victim. Move a victim only if the scene is unsafe or if necessary to provide first aid or CPR.

Are there any other people around who can help?Pick someone to call 911, provide the number of injured victims, how were they injured, and the location.
