• The ROTOVIT never support any ∆P, the pressure in the lower compartment remains equal to the conveying air pressure.
• There is consequently no air leakage and the quantity of air is limited to q y g q ythe volume of the pockets of the ROTOVIT.
• No leakage means no wear and a longer life for the ROTOVIT.
• A constant and optimal filling of the pockets is ensured that gives an excellent relationship between the rotation speed and the mass flow.
Th i l th h i th t• The conveying length has no repercussion on the system architecture, the pressure balancing being efficient at any value. Benefit for Explosion Protection of environmental equipment.
• Each discharge cycle of the hopper offers the opportunity to check the accuracy of the on-line flow meter and that way the flow measurement is reliable and not interrupted.

• The ISS valves support a heavy duty thanks to the total absence of friction between the material and the shutter itself.

• In this architecture, the SCM is the feeder controller. Itcontrols the whole feeding processcontrols the whole feeding process.
• The SCM controller main task is to regulate the massflowaccording to the SMARTFLOW measure. It recalibrateaccording to the SMARTFLOW measure. It recalibrateperiodically the later based on the loss in weight part of eachcycle using the On Line Calibration process.
• This way of doing allow a continuous mass flow measureduring the hopper refill cycle.
• 3 possible Modes :– Standard : Smartflow regulation with OLC.– Emergency Mode 1 : Weighed without the Smartflow

• Conveying Velocity.
• Typically the velocity at the start of the conveying system will be 20 to 24 m/s, rising to 28 to 32 m/s at the end of the pipeline before the coal enters the burner.
These velocities are designed to ensure no pulsations in the pipe line occur due to material settlement or accumulation.
• Operating Pressure.
• The operating pressure, assuming a 50mbar pressure drop across the burner, is typically between 200mbar and 500mbar depending on the conveying distance200mbar and 500mbar, depending on the conveying distance.
• Phase Density
• The Phase density of conveying, will vary between 3:1 and 7:1 depending on the conveying distance and the requirements of the burner.
