Caboodle

Origin The words kit and caboodle have rather

similar meanings. A kit - is set of objects, as in a toolkit, or what

a soldier would put in his kit-bag. A caboodle (or boodle) - is an archaic term

meaning group or collection, usually of people.

This is a piece of software that is offered by Google that enable powerful applications and new features to work in your web browser.

Gears allows you to use Gmail while you are offline. You can read mail, label it and compose messages this is all

synchronized the next time you connect.

Why do I love chat?

1. It is a fast way to communicate.

2. You have a record of your conversation and decisions.

3. It is a great way to work collaboratively.

4. One person gets to speak at a time.

5. You can have a meeting anywhere you can make a connection.

6. It saves time.

What the heck is Google Wave?

Email was invented 40 years ago. Give or take a year or two.

Google asked what would email look like if it was invented today.

Wave is a email like tool that brings in all the good things from social software.

I love this product almost as much as I love cookies.

Buzz works as a kind of social media integrator. I am going to add Twitter,Flickr and other stuff.

Your Google profile is where you add your other Social Media.

Ok so I fiddled with it for 30 minutes and could get it to do anything helpful.

Here you can create a website within minutes.

There are some really helpful tools that use all the time in the accounts section.

Google alerts are emails that are sent to you when Google finds a new search result that match your search term. These could be web pages, blogs, twitter comments. I use them to alert me to what people are saying about the library.

This is another great tool that we use to analyze our web traffic.

This is a service that enhances your existing phone service. The number is attach to you. Not your home, your work or your cell.
