Bad design No seat! You have to squat! Careful not to make a mess on your clothes!

Most westerners avoid these toilets which are often found in public restrooms but many Japanese prefer this because it is considered more sanitary and clean

This can be a good or bad design depending on your cultural perspective of cleanliness!
