Innovative Technologies in Libraries

Tina GlatzCEL580

Spring 2009

OVERVIEW

See the big picture and let others see you seeing it. It’s about learning and

teaching. It’s about engagement. If you are seen only as the one who closes up for inventory, as the book chaser, and

NOT as the CIO, the inventor, the creative force, you won’t be seen as a

big picture person.

Are you a 21st Century Librarian? Watch this video at

http://henrico.k12.va.us/hcpstv/vv_library.html

Or are you Old School?

Students completing LSC 220 will become familiar with and engage in new and emerging technologies in libraries revolving around Web 2.0 tools.
