If a LEA reserves funds off the top of its Title III allocation for supplemental instructional activities, professional development activities, or

parental involvement activities the following federal requirement applies. The LEA must provide from those funds, as applicable, equitable

services to eligible private school students, teachers, and/or parents. The amount of funds available to provide equitable services from the

applicable reserved fund must be proportionate to the number of LEP idenitified private school children. LEAs must assure that adminstrative

costs, including indirect costs, will not exceed 2% of the total Title III, Part A LEP grant award.
