Clear Skies Unlimited has successfully developed a passive emission control system for wood burning fireplaces. The HearthCAT™ Fireplace Technology has been extensively tested for wood burning fireplace applications at Omni Environmental Testing Laboratories and Myren Consulting Laboratory.

All testing was conducted to an EPA Approved test procedure, ASTM E-2558. All HearthCAT™ Test results meet the EPA Phase II emissions requirements for wood burning fireplaces.

ASTM E-2558 is recognized by US EPA as the official test standard for open hearth wood burning fireplaces.

Clear Skies will distribute the HearthCAT System through the nationwide network of chimney sweeps. This will insure that the fireplace is properly cleaned and inspected prior to installation.

This will also insure that the HearthCAT Is properly installed and that a good customer interface is established with the homeowner.

Chimney sweeps must be properly trained and certified by Clear Skies Unlimited prior to any HearthCAT installation.

Each HearthCAT™ Device is accompanied by a Product Certification Hang Tag. This tag will be attached to the wood burning fireplace after the installation of the HearthCAT™ or provided to thehomeowner forfiling.
