1.There are several references to river-side festivals in ancient Indian texts, but the exact age of this festival is uncertain. The Chinese traveller Xuan Zang (Hiuen Tsang) describes a ritual organized by Emperor Shiladitya (identified with Harsha Bardhana) at the confluence of two rivers, in the kingdom of Po-lo-ye- kia (identified with Prayaga). He also mentions that many hundreds took a bath at the confluence, to wash away their sins . According to medieval Hindu mythology, the origin of the festival can be found in the Mahabharata (ancient legend of samudra manthan). The legend tells of a battle between the Devas and Asuras for amrita, the drink of immortality. To prevent the asuras from seizing the amrita, a divine carrier flew away with the pot of amrita. In one version of the legend, the carrier of the pot is the divine physician Dhanavantari, in other re- telling's, the carrier is Garuda or Indra who spills the amrita at four places . While several ancient texts, including the various Puranas, mention the samdura manthan legend, none of them mentions spilling of the amrita at four places. Neither do these texts mention the festival . Name the festival.

2.It is believed that the snake's tongue is split so that it knows which direction to move based on the preponderance of chemical particles on one side of its forked tongue in relation to a lesser degree of particles on the other side of the tongue. Think of it as akin to having 3-D glasses for the tongue. The chemical levels are slightly different on the right than the left, but together they make a whole story. This information is subtle, and small animals are fast, so it must be processed as speedily as possible for the snake to catch its dinner . But, according to the Mahabharata there was a mythological fact behind this splited tongue . What was that reason?

Bhishma said when X becomes angry then it will be impossible to fight him as he becomes a second Shiva. No one can handle his wrath and fury. Bhishma told Duryodhana “ Amongst the warriors of both armies, there is no one who can be regarded as his peer .” Lord Krishna and sage Vyasa also knew about this and they advised Arjuna to seek the blessing of Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva blessed victory to Arjuna but warned that it is impossible for anyone to kill X or agitate his anger . The name of X means "the horse-voiced". It is so called because when he was born he cried like a horse . Id X.

5.Gary langurs or x langurs, the most widespread langurs of the Indian Subcontinent, are a group of Old World monkeys constituting the entirety of the genus Semnopithecus (from Ancient Greek σεμνός semnós, “revered, august, holy”, and π ίθηκος píthēkos, “ape, monkey”). All taxa have traditionally been placed in the single species Semnopithecus entellus. In 2001, it was recommended that several distinctive former subspecies should be given species status, so that seven species are recognized. A taxonomic classification with fewer species has also been proposed . Genetic evidence suggests that the Nilgiri langur and purple-faced langur, which usually are placed in the genus Trachypithecus, actually belong in Semnopithecus . Gray langurs are large and fairly terrestrial, inhabiting forest, open lightly wooded habitats, and urban areas on the Indian subcontinent. Most species are found at low to moderate altitudes, but the Nepal gray langur and Kashmir gray langur occur up to 4,000 metres (13,000 ft) in the Himalayas. How we better know him?
