TO UNDERSTAND

TO CONNECTParents need to listen, discuss, & prepare to act with their teens.

TO MOTIVATEParents need to help motivate teens through growth mindset.

TO SUPPORT

Parents need to ask their teens the support they need.

- In Effective communication… parents must act as facilitators in family communication. - Family communication involves a process of holistic/integral approach. - ministers and pastor of the Church should at least be reminded to be more passionate in bringing change in the life of people in their locality esp. the families.

- Youth Ministry and Family Ministries should help their local church promote Christian families. - Pastoral care for the families must be one of the top agendas in a parish or Christian community

- The very outcome of the suggested program in the guise of skills training in communication is in reality to form committed Disciples of Christ.

- … making them feel that Jesus is reaching out to them.

- The basic happiness of young Filipino people is very much attached to a happy family.

“The ability of the families to survive these changes suggests that families are flexible and that their flexibility is aided by how

family members communicate.”
